PRIMARY SCHOOL WEEKEND COURSE
Holiday courses for primary school students take place during the New Year and winter holidays. They are intended for children between the ages of 6 and 14 who want to master or improve their skiing technique, meet new friends and spend their holidays actively. In four days, a complete beginner can become an independent and safe skier who will know how to behave properly on the ski slope. Children with prior knowledge of skiing will improve their skiing technique on the course.
Before starting work in groups, we will divide the children into groups (7 to 9 children), which will be formed according to their prior knowledge, which will be evaluated by our professionally qualified skiing and snowboarding teachers. We will teach according to the ZUTS program for Ski Schools of Slovenia and adapt it to the child's prior knowledge.
On the first day, we gather at the meeting point of the Intersport Pohorje Ski School near the Pohorska cable car. Children should already be dressed in ski overalls and have ski boots on. After the course, we meet again in front of the Pohorska Vzpenjača. Children who are beginners or do not yet have enough knowledge will be brought to the valley by gondola, the rest will ski into the valley as long as the snow base and their skiing skills are suitable.
On the last day of the course, the children will show all the knowledge they have acquired in the competition, as they will compete with their peers on the giant slalom course. All parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and friends are invited to the competition.

The course fee is settled on the first day of the course in cash at the Ski & Rent service (bottom station of the Pohorska cable car).
The price of the 20-hour course includes ski instructors, a ski pass for the entire course, a hot lunch, the final giant slalom competition and commemorative trophies for all children.

The day before the start of the course, you will receive a message on your phone and email with all the information about the selected course.
On the first day, we gather at the meeting point of the Intersport Pohorje Ski School on the platform of the Pohorje cable car. Children should already be dressed in ski overalls and have ski boots on. After the day's course, we will meet again at the meeting point in front of the Pohorska Vzpenjača.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the course in case of insufficient number of applications.
Important
Important notice
The Ski Safety Act prescribes the mandatory use of a safety helmet for all children up to the age of 14. Children who do not have their own helmet can also borrow one during the course.
